Direct passenger train services are resumed between Moscow and Sukhumi from July 29.
Thro 'cars will along the route within in Moscow-Adler 75/76 train, overcoming the distance in 2,072 kilometers long for about 44 hours, Vesti reported.
"We tried to take into account the citizens' desires and introduce two second-class and six compartment cars in this route, while the SV car will "run" between the two cities from Aug. 21, the
Russian Railways reported. The train will make stops in major Russian cities, including Lipetsk, Voronezh, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar. Their residents will hence have a direct transport communication with Abkhazia.
Purchasing return tickets to Sukhumi is available at all ticket offices, via Internet, using transactional self-service terminals at the stations and authorized ticket offices in Abkhazia.
