On April 1 the State Migration Service (SMS) is start registration of foreigners and stateless persons by residence place, the press service of the SMS reported on Friday.
Foreigners and stateless persons coming to Azerbaijan or persons who provide them with housing, should apply to the SMS for registration within three days by mail, internet or directly.
The documents required for residence registration are an application form for registration at the place of residence, filled by a foreigner or a person without citizenship, a copy of a passport or an equivalent document of a foreigner, with which he entered the territory of the country, or a copy of a document confirming the identity of a person without citizenship.
Foreigners and stateless must send a filled in application for residence registration along with a copy of the passport to the email address of the SMS which is [email protected]
Foreigners and persons without citizenship receiving a registration notification are considered to be registered.
Registration of foreigners and stateless persons in accordance with the decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated March 5 on amendments to the provisions implementation of the law "On the registration of residence and the location."
