Azerbaijan is expected to get four million manat by selling tickets for the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe in Baku, Azad Rahimov, Azerbaijani minister of youth and sports, told reporters March 9.
He said that some 30,000 tickets are on sale for the 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe in Baku.
"Tickets have been sold online since February 19," he said. "Tickets can also be bought at the box offices."
He said that the sale of tickets was not restricted.
"Thus, both the citizens of Azerbaijan and foreign countries can purchase any number of tickets," the minister said.
The 2016 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Europe will start in Baku on June 19 at 18:00 (UTC/GMT +4 hours).
