BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 16. A grand concert program was held in the park of the Heydar Aliyev Center on the occasion of two significant dates celebrated this year in Azerbaijan - the 100th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev and the 30th anniversary of the national leader's return to power, Trend reports.
In this regard, popular Azerbaijani singers, music and dance groups presented their wonderful performances to a huge audience at a concert in the park of the Heydar Aliyev Center on the occasion of National Salvation Day on June 15.
The artists performed famous compositions and patriotic songs.
The event began with the performance of the National Anthem of Azerbaijan. The national anthem was performed by the Azerbaijan State Choral Capella.
Then the Exemplary military orchestra of the Ministry of Defense, singers Mubariz Tagiyev, and Shamistan Alizamanli were invited to the stage, who performed patriotic songs that gave a special atmosphere to the evening.
Then Azer Zeynalov, Aygun Beyler, Aygun Kazimova, Agadadash Agayev, Eldar Gasimov and Nigar Jamal, Miri Yusif, Manana, Bilal Aliyev, Faig Agayev, Samira Ali Maryam, Nurlan Novrasli, Sevda Alekbarzadeh, Vuqar Abdulov, Gulyanaq and Gulyaz Mammadova, Abbas Bagirov, Aybaniz Hashimova and the "Bulbullar" group, Tunzale Agayeva, Ilgar Muradov, Lala Mammadova, Zulfiyya Khanbabayeva, Roya Aykhan, Xayyam Nisanov, Natavan Habibi, EMIN, Alim Gasimov, "Natig" rhythm group, Narmin Karimbayova, Ilham Gasimov pleased the audience with their magnificent performance.
The concert program was composed very interestingly. Each sounded song related to each year of the period from 1993 to 2023, and the lyrics of these compositions reflected a love for the motherland and the spirit of patriotism.
The performance of the Zefer choir, which included the children of the martyrs of the 44-day second Karabakh war, was very touching.
The audience of the grandiose evening warmly welcomed
each performance and sang songs in unison with the artists. The
festive atmosphere was felt both on stage and among the
audience.
Patriotic compositions and songs praising Azerbaijan were greeted
with special cordiality. The spectators of the festive concert were
thousands of people who waved the Azerbaijani flag, which gave a
special solemnity to the wonderful event.
Each performance was accompanied by a standing ovation from the audience. The concert will be remembered for the energy of unity, and an incredible atmosphere, the impressions of which will remain for many years.
Muslim Magomayev's "Azerbaijan" song was performed in the conclusion.
