GABALA, Azerbaijan, July 9. Thanks to my efforts, I managed to achieve the best results, Gymnast Ilknur Hajiyeva, representative of the Zagatala branch of Ojag Sport, told Trend.
She became a gold medalist in the 8th Cup of Regions in the age category of "juniors" (born in 2011).
"For more than a month, I was diligently preparing for this competition, putting all my strength and efforts into achieve the best results. And I succeeded. First of all, I would like to express my gratitude to the coaches for their efforts and faith in me," she said.
To note, the 8th Rhythmic Gymnastics Regional Cup started on 9 July at the Gabala Olympic Sports Complex.
The competition features 66 gymnasts representing Shaki, Oghuz, Gabala, Shirvan, Shirvan, Masalli, Absheron, Ganja, Lankaran, and Shamkir Youth Centres & Sumgayit Olympic Sports Complexes, as well as Ojaq Sports Club (Zagatala, Agdash, and Shamakhi regions), Ganja Olympic Sports Club and Kur Olympic Training Sports Center.
