The Azerbaijan National Data Center of the Organization of Treaty on Comprehensive Ban of Nuclear Weapons Tests (OTCBNWT) drew a list of the earthquakes taken place in September. 1,865 earthquakes were registered all over the world, Trend reports referring to the Azerbaijan National Academy of Science. A total of 23 fell to the Caspian regions. The strongest earthquakes were recorded in New Ireland (5.7 points Richter scale) and in the north of Iran, the Caspian region ( 4.7 points Richter scale).
The OTCBNWT includes 337 objects, which form international monitoring system.
