Discussions on pardoning junior law violators have been held at the initiative of the State committee on family, women and children and Azerbaijani NGO alliance on children rights, the Azerbaijani NGO Alliance on children rights told Trend.
Representatives from the state institutions, NGOs, international organizations, law experts, psychologists, teachers and parents of the sentenced children will take part at the discussions.
Possibilities to pardon children currently incarcerated in detention centers will be discussed. The preliminary version of the statement addressed to the president will be prepared.
