The Azerbaijan Ecology and Natural Resources Ministry is holding campaign among the population of the country to struggle the bird flue. According to the action plan on preventing the penetration of the bird flue virus into Azerbaijan, seven operative groups had held monitoring on November 20-22, Trend reports referring to the Ministry.
The group of Davachi-Liman area had meetings with the participation of the inhabitants of the villages Chaygarashli, Hajigarashli, Khalili, and Sarvan.
They held a monitoring mission. No bird death was detected. Another group held a monitoring in the National Park of Altiaghadj. They held control and propaganda campaigns, as well as enlightenment works in educational institutions of the region.
Corresponding works have been carried out by the other groups in the Absheron National Park, in the islands of Pirallahi, Gil, Jilov, Shirvan National Park, Siyazan, as well as areas neighboring the above-mentioned territories.
