The 'Toxic' singer had sunk several glasses of champagne before collapsing at Las Vegas club Pure. The 'zonked' diva was then scooped off the floor by her minders and taken outside for some fresh air.
And now sources say the nightclub wants to nix her some 400,000 dollar appearance fee, because she failed to spend the agreed amount of hours there.
"Britney failed to spend the agreed amount of time in the club, because she had to be helped out after collapsing," the Daily News quoted a close source, as saying.
The tipster also says the club is "furious" with her because of her PR spin that she merely dozed off - implying the place is boring.
Britney's aides have dismissed the story, insisting the singer was just too tired.
However, a club spokesperson said her remuneration was "less than half" of 400,000 dollars and that she wasn't penalized for leaving early.
"Britney had a great time. "We love her and can't wait for her to come back," said the spokeswoman.
But an insider familiar with the club says: "The moment a celebrity gets into one of those deals they are on the clock. They are watched to the minute, and they are not allowed to leave early. It's a contractual obligation."
