Azerbaijan, Baku / Тrend corr E. Huseynli / The monitoring held this year revealed several legal infractions by Azerbaijani TV channels, the chairman of the National Television and Radio Broadcasting Council of Azerbaijan, Nushiravan Maharramli, said 16 May in his exclusive interview.
According to Maharramli, the Council considered oral warning to be satisfactory, as the infractions were not serious. The chairman noted that in case of serious misconduct the matter is usually included into the agenda of the Council.
As to the infractions in commercials, the chairman stressed that special control is implemented regarding the ban on promotion of prohibited medicaments. The exact results of the examinations will be soon publicized.
