The Sumgait Technopark, successfully representing the "Made in Azerbaijan" brand, has set up export of a 110-kilovolt electrical cable to Kyrgyzstan for the first time.
Some 2,384 meters of the electric cable were sent to Kyrgyzstan on October 4, 2018 by the order of the Kyrgyz ElectroSila company.
According to the terms of the order, 7,140 meters of cable will be sent to the customer, and these deliveries will be carried out in two stages.
The cables will be used in the construction of a new thermal power plant, which will provide electricity to the central districts of the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, and other residential settlements.
Despite such strong competitors as Russia, Sumgait Technopark was chosen as the supplier.
This example is a clear indication of the trust that is put in the products of the Sumgait Technopark on the international market.
Some 28 types of cable are produced at the cable plant of Sumgait Technopark.
The High-Tech Park has already concluded major contracts for the export of cable with Georgia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan. The signed agreements are already being fulfilled. The Sumgait Technopark plans to expand operations in the Central Asian market, as well as to enter the markets of Western Europe and Africa.
The Sumgait Technopark, being a pioneer in the creation of technology parks in the region, is a specialized giant complex of factories functioning in various production areas.
The park was commissioned by President Ilham Aliyev on December 22, 2009. All plants of the Sumgait Technopark are equipped with modern European equipment. The raw materials used in the production process are also imported from leading European countries.
