Azerbaijan imported from Russia 31,342 tons of RON-98 Premium gasoline from January through June 2021, which is 26.4 percent more compared to the same period of 2020, Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee of Azerbaijan.
The share of Russia in the Azerbaijani imports of gasoline amounted to 60.8 percent.
"Azerbaijan's import of RON-98 Premium gasoline from Russia in value terms amounted to $31.3 million, which is 44.8 percent more compared to the first half of 2020," the statement said.
In the first half of this year, Romania ranked second among the countries exporting gasoline to Azerbaijan with an indicator of about 25,400 tons, which is 80.3 percent more compared to the same period of last year.
On July 31, in Azerbaijan, prices for RON-95 gasoline increased from 1.4 to 1.45 manat (82-85 cents) per liter.
