The visit of the Azerbaijani delegation to Kyrgyzstan will give a serious impetus to the development of bilateral relations in the field of economic cooperation, Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Azerbaijan Kairat Osmonaliyev told Trend.
According to Osmonaliyev, the delegation was headed by Deputy Economy Minister Niyazi Safarov.
"On January 27, 2022, within the business mission, the Azerbaijani delegation held five meetings and visited the Bishkek free economic zone,” he said. “This business mission continues. Today, a meeting was held with the Acting Head of the Investment and Development Agency of Kyrgyzstan Nuradil Bayasov, Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce Kanat Abdrakhmanov, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Azamat Mukashev and Director General of the Bishkek FEZ Kudret Taychabarov.”
“As a result of this visit, we’ll witness a new stage in the development of bilateral relations in the field of economic diplomacy,” the ambassador noted. “It will be possible to talk about the results of the past B2B meetings, visits to the FEZ "Bishkek" in the near future. There were also presentations and discussions of the parties.”
Osmonaliyev also noted that the parties showed mutual interest in developing economic ties.
"They also visited the directorate office of Asman project, a very ambitious project for the construction of a modern city on the shores of Lake Issyk-Kul, the pearl of Central Asia," he further said.
Besides, according to him, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan.
