BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 17. Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover totaled $51.2 billion from January through November 2022 (considering the statistical value of crude oil and natural gas, the customs clearance of which was not completed), Trend reports citing the State Statistical Committee.
Out of the total value, $38.3 billion accounted for exports, while imports made up $12.88 billion. As a result, the trade surplus exceeded $25.466 billion.
In the reporting period, legal entities and individuals in Azerbaijan conducted trade transactions with partners from 184 countries.
Azerbaijan exported its products to 121 countries and imported from 169 countries from January through November 2022.
According to the committee, the foreign trade turnover in actual prices increased by 62.7 percent, in real terms – by 7.9 percent, including exports – by 11.2 percent, and imports – by 1.2 percent compared to the same period of 2021.
