BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 9. Private enterprises comprised 90.7 percent of the overall construction activities, conducted in Baku in 2022, Trend reports citing the Baku City Statistics Department.
According to the agency, construction and reconstruction projects accounted for 75.7 percent, major repairs – for 9.3 percent, current repairs – for 5.6 percent, and other construction activities – for 9.4 percent of total work.
In 2021, non-state-owned enterprises implemented 90.1 percent of the overall construction activities carried out in Baku.
According to the State Statistical Committee, Azerbaijan manufactured construction materials worth 1.08 billion manat ($635.2 million) in 2022, up by 12.5 percent against 2021.
Building materials worth 871.8 million manat ($512.82 million) were manufactured in Azerbaijan in 2021, which was 80.6 percent higher than in 2020.
