During January-November 2009, Azerbaijan's GDP grew by 9 percent compared to the same period of the last year, the State Statistics Committee said. At current prices, GDP amounted to 29 654.2 million manat. GDP per capita amounted to 3,360.7 manat ($4,181), an increase of 7.6 percent.
Total production in all sectors of the economy increased by 10.5 percent and made up 64.5 percent of GDP, where main part - 50.6 percent (15 000.6 million manat) accounted for industry. The share of services in GDP was 27.9 percent. Value added production has increased by 6.7 percent compared to the same period of last year. Net taxes from production and imports amounted to 7.6 percent of GDP.
