The Iranian government plans to donate 1000 meters free land to each Iranian family to build villa, Mehr News Agency reported quoting President Mahomoud Ahmadinejad as saying.
"The government is finalizing the plan and the housing cooperatives expressed readiness to join the project," he said.
"About 30 million hectares land are ready for building houses if we allocates 2 million hectares to families we can donate 1000 square meters free land for every family, so they can build a 3 store buildings with 100 square meter units and transform the rest into garden", he noted.
The implementation of villas for Iranian can preserve green space, he added.
The plan will be ready by the end of current solar year (started on March20,2011) in 10 to 15 regions as experience.
