Money supply ups by 33 percent in Azerbaijan

The Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) noted the increase in money supply (M2) (cash in circulation (outside banks) and remainders in the domestic currency on accounts of non-financial organizations, financial (excluding credit) organizations and physical entities) by 1.2 percent in October and 33.3 percent compared to the same period of 2010, the CBA reported.

So, as of Nov. 1, 2011, the rate of M2 was 9.748.6 billion manat compared to 9.630.3 billion manat as of early October and 7.314.5 billion manat as of Nov.1, 2010.

The amount of cash money supply (M0) as of Nov.1, 2011 hit 6.505.3 billion manat compared to 6.465.9 billion manat as of early October and 4.942.6 billion manat as of Nov.1, 2010.
As of early November, Broad Money Supply (M3) totaled 12.652.2 billion manat compared to 12.652.2 billion manat in early October and 9.619.9 billion manat as of Nov.1, 2010.

The transaction money (M1) amounted to 7.835.8 billion manat as of Nov.1 compared to 7.809.7 billion manat as of early October and 5.999.9 billion manat as of Nov.1, 2010.
