Wind turbines to be built in Kazakhstan

Wind turbines with a total capacity of 150 mW will be built in Kazakhstan this year, Kyoto Protocol Department Director Tolebay Adilov said at an enlarged meeting of the Ecology Ministry's board today.

According to the program on renewable energy sources, small hydroelectric power stations with a total capacity of more than 250 mW are planned to be built and restored. Wind turbines with a total capacity of 150 mW are planned to be constructed.
