The Tajik state airline TajikAir has denied the information that it intends to postpone flights to Tehran (Iran) for an indefinite period, a source at the company's office told Trend on Friday.

"Two flights to Iran are made every week on Tuesday and Saturday," he said.

A source said that the flight on October 13 was cancelled in connection with the problems, but was later restored. The source did not specify the nature of the difficulties.

While speaking to Trend, one of the airline ticket selling points confirmed the information that the Saturday flight will be made and all the tickets were sold out.

The media reported that TajikAir decided to postpone the flights to the capital of Iran for an indefinite period because of the sharp depreciation of the Iranian rial (IRR) to major world currencies.
