Azerbaijan will host the Third Forum of Women Entrepreneurs, organised by the UN Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) and dedicated to the role of women in the business.
This was reported to Trend on Monday by the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs (Employers) Organisation of Azerbaijan (ASK).
The event will be organised taking into account the fact that development of the non-oil sector in the country including small and medium enterprises, is currently a top priority.
Issues relating to the problems faced by women entrepreneurs, availability of financial resources and the establishment of educational centres for women entrepreneurs in the country's regions will be discussed within the forum.
The event will take place on 14-15 November 2012 with the support of ASK.
According to ASK, the above mentioned activities will be held in the regions of Azerbaijan with financial support from the UN and the assistance of the State Committee for Family, Women and Children.
Currently, there are more than 8000 women entrepreneurs in Azerbaijan.
