By Ali Mustafayev – Trend:

Kazakhstan’s Zhambyl region intends to launch 10 investment projects worth 19 billion tenge in 2018.

“The Industrialization Map of the region includes 34 more investment projects worth 558.6 billion tenge during the next five years,” said the head of the local executive body (akimat) Karim Kokrekbaev during the opening ceremony of an automated animal feed production complex in the region, the press service of the akimat said in a message.

The cost of the newly constructed animal feed production complex of the region amounts to more than billion tenge. The projects production capacity is 36,000 tons of feed per year.

“This project will undoubtedly give a new impetus to the development of the agro-industrial complex in our region. The plant will produce a new feed from Chinese beans and barley, which will be of great help to the peasant farms,” said the head of the region.

He stressed that the feed industry plays a key role in providing industrial, agricultural enterprises, as well as individual farms, with quality compound feedstuff.

“And this, in turn, allows us to increase the profitability of agriculture production.”
