Trading volume of shares on Kazakh stock exchange increases

In January-April 2018, trading volume of shares at Kazakhstan Stock Exchange (KASE) made up 55.9 billion tenge, increasing by 17.4 percent against January-April 2017.

The volume of shares trade increased by 30.6 percent compared to September-December 2017.

The volume of trades in investment funds' securities, in January-April 2018, made up 85.5 million tenge, decreasing by 72.8 percent year over year.

In comparison with September-December 2017 the volume of trades in investment funds' securities decreased by 75.9 percent.

KASE holds licenses for conducting banking operations in national and foreign currency, as well as carrying out activities in the securities market (including activities for organizing trading with securities and other financial instruments and clearing transactions).
