GM Uzbekistan officially commented on the recall of 5,219 Ravon Nexia R3 cars, Trend reports referring to Uzbek media.
The company noted that only R3 models sold and operated in Russia are subject to the recall.
The current possibility of displacement of the steering system hose is due to the peculiarities of operation at low temperatures in winter in the Russian climatic conditions, a representative office of Ravon Motors Rus said.
Reportedly, the reason for the recall of vehicles is the existing likelihood of displacement of the steering system hose due to insufficient clamping force of a spring clip. This can lead to leakage of hydraulic fluid from the system.
