Azerbaijani mineral water producer Qax Mineral Su LLC will increase production by 2-2.5 times by the end of the year, a source in the company told Trend.
“Every year the company produces one million bottles, but we plan to increase production to 2-2.5 million bottles by the end of the year,” the source noted. “Domestic demand for our products is fully met, so we are considering various options for increasing exports. Our mineral water has a rare quality, it can be stored for five or even seven years.”
Despite such a long shelf life, the water, even when bottled, retains its quality characteristics and taste, the source added.
“This tangible advantage allows us to think about exports, so we are at the stage of active search for buyers abroad,” the source said. “Another advantage of our products is their healing qualities, so we are counting on strong demand in foreign markets.”
The company is located in the Suskand village of Azerbaijan’s Gakh district.
