Investment projects worth nearly $500M being implemented in Kazakhstan's Aktobe

Some 25 investment projects worth 190 billion tenge (approximately $489.686 million) are being implemented in Kazakhstan’s Aktobe region, said Head of the region Ondasyn Urazalin, Trend reports with reference to the press office of the regional akimat (administrative center).

He made the statement during the meeting with the Ambassador-at-Large of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan Erlan Khairov. Deputy Head of the Region Kairat Bekenov and Chairman of the Board of Socio Entrepreneurship Corporation Aktobe Mamunov Ruslan also participated in the meeting.

During the meeting, Urazalin talked about the investment projects, which are being implemented in the region.

According to him, within the framework of investments attracted to Kazakhstan, Aktobe region is carrying out multilateral work and is creating conditions for implementation of projects of foreign investors.

«Nine projects total worth of which is 22.8 billion tenge have already been realized on the territory of industrial zone creating 477 new work places. Overall, 25 other major investment projects worth 190 billion tenge are being implemented here, including 19 projects with participation of foreign capital worth 1.1 billion tenge,” Urazalin said.

In turn, Khairov noted that within the working program in Aktobe region, he got acquainted with results of the work in this area, and highlighted that the region is the convenient zone for conducting business. He promised that the ministry will provide support in implementation of the projects.

Furthermore, during the meeting, issues of improvement of regional front office activities have been discussed.
