Uzbekistan will sell its shares in the companies of Uzsharobsanoat structure, Trend reports via Uzbek media.
Now the state owns shares in more than 140 companies, including wholesale bases (82 companies).
As a rule, this is either a controlling stake of 50 percent or full 100 percent. The State Asset Management Agency has begun putting up blocks of shares for sale.
So far, the website e-auktsion.uz has put up for auction over 60 lots in different regions of the country.
Starting prices depend on the companies - the descriptions of the lots provide information on the presence or absence of debts, financial indicators.
