Azerbaijan's Garadag glass factory plans to increase export of its products, the factory's director Zaur Yagubov told Trend.

According to Yagubov, there are opportunities to export goods to Central Asia.

“We see this as a potential market for our products. We are negotiating with clients in Central Asia. In particular, we are considering possibilities of deliveries to Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kazakhstan. According to our calculations, the volume of export of the factory products can make up about 100 million glass bottles annually. We plan to export 30,000-35,000 bottles to the markets, with the prospect of the further increase of volumes of deliveries,” Yagubov said.

Currently the factory is working on the development of a new production line.

“Opening of the new production line will allow producing 50-60 million glass bottles annually. We plan to complete the development of a new production line by the end of this year,” Yagubov said.

The Garadag glass factory, founded in 2018, is one of the enterprises of Azerbaijan Industrial Corporation.

The plant is equipped with modern Italian equipment and has the largest production potential in the region.

Most of the raw materials are imported from Russia, Ukraine, Turkey and other countries.
