Azerbaijan’s steel pipe plant intends to expand range of products

Azerbaijan’s steel pipe plant, which is one of the production facilities of Azertechnoline, plans to expand the range of certain types of products this year, a source in the enterprise told Trend.
It is planned to produce new models of steel spiral seam pipes, said the source.
“Manufacturing of new types of steel products is planned for the second half of 2020. Currently, the plant produces steel spiral-seam pipes with a diameter of 400-2000 millimeters, which are used for transporting crude oil, natural gas, water pipes, refineries, steel structures and piles,” said the source.
In addition, the company also produces polyethylene sewer pipes with steel reinforcement with a diameter of 400-2400 millimeters.
“All products meet international quality standards. The products are sold both in domestic market and abroad. The plant also produces gas and water pipes, as well as corrugated sewer pipes
Products are used in oil refineries, at seaports and in shipbuilding.”
The plant was commissioned in 2013.
