Turkmenistan’s economic society locks deals with Hungary, Netherlands

Turkmenistan’s Sahabatly economic society has started to cooperate with Hungary and the Netherlands, Trend reports with reference to Business Turkmenistan information portal.

According to the agreement, concluded between the economic society and the countries, Sahabatly will purchase 400 Holstein cows from Hungary and 65 heads of the same cow breed from the Netherlands.

Sahabatly has a total land area of 8.6 hectares. The society owns a complex that holds highly productive Holstein cattle and Saanen goats, as well as 400 dairy cows. The society produces kefir (fermented milk drink similar to a thin yogurt that is made from kefir grains) of various fat content, including dietary, bio-kefir, sour cream, strained yogurt and cottage cheese, as well as Paytagt, Dilim varieties of cheeses.

This complex was established in 2014 and for now has big importance in providing the country's markets with dairy products.
