As many as 7,708 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Uzbekistan from January through June 2020, which is 25 percent less than in the same period in 2019, Trend reports referring to Turkey’s International Freight Forwarders Association (UND).
"Some 1.38 percent of the total volume of cargo transportation from Turkey by trucks accounted for Uzbekistan during the reporting period," the association said.
According to the UND, 1,123 Turkish trucks transported cargo from Turkey to Uzbekistan in June 2020, which is 23 percent less than in June 2019.
In total, 558,903 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad from January through June 2020, which is a decrease by eight percent compared to the same period in 2019.
In June 2020, 99,165 Turkish trucks transported cargo abroad, which is six percent more compared to June 2019.
