Kazakhstan’s KazMunayGas (KMG), Air Astana, KEGOC and QazaqGaz JSCs will be listed for IPO (initial public offering), Board Chairman of Samruk-Kazyna Fund JSC Almasadam Satkaliyev said at a meeting of the Supreme Council for Reforms, Trend reports via Akorda.
Speaking about the course of implementation of a program of reforms in the fund, Satkaliyev outlined such key priorities of the program as ensuring the transparency of the procurement process, removing barriers for participants of the market for processing and marketing oil, gas, coal, and electricity.
Along with the above, the personnel policy was revised, and the managerial staff was optimized. Thanks to the listing of KMG, Air Astana, KEGOC and QazaqGaz companies for IPO, Samruk-Kazyna will be able to transfer 500 billion tenge ($1 billion) to the National Fund.
