BAKU, Azerbaijan, July 13. The number of housing purchase and sale transactions in Kazakhstan amounted to 31,019 in June 2022 and increased by 1.7 percent compared to May 2022. (30,500), Trend reports citing Kazakhstan's Statistics Committee.
The number of purchases is higher in Almaty and Nur-Sultan with 4,410 and 3,850 transactions, respectively. The least number of all transactions was carried out in the North Kazakhstan region (686).
At the same time, the decline in the number of transactions was recorded in East Kazakhstan (by 11 percent), Atyrau (by 9.1 percent), West Kazakhstan (by 7.4 percent), Karaganda (by 5.4 percent) and Mangistau (by 4.3 percent) regions.
A total of 21,388 transactions in June accounted for apartment buildings.
Furthermore, the number of housing purchase and sale transactions in June 2022 decreased by 42.6 percent compared to the same month of 2021.
