From January to November 2005 the consumer inflation in Azerbaijan comprised 9.9% as compared 2004, The State Statistics Committee told Trend. As of 1 December the index of consumer prices increased by 3.1% as compared December 2004, 4.9% - November 2004, 1.1% - October 2004. The government forecasts 5% inflation over 2005.
Over the last 11 months the index rate of wholesale industry prices made up 19.4% as compared January- November 2004, 10.6% - December, 7.7% - November 2004. In November wholesale prices dropped by 1.5% as compare October 2005. Wholesale price growth is forecasted 3% for 2005.
From January to November agricultural product prices grew by 13.1% as compared January-November 2004, 4.7% - December 2004, 8.7% - November 2004. In November the prices dropped by 0.9% as compared October 2005.
