Volume of passenger transportation in NAR has increased by about 3%

In January-May 2006, the volume of the cargo transportation of Nakchivan Autonomous Republic (NAR) has grown by 2% and the growth of the passenger transportation was 2,9% as compared to the same period of 2005, Trend reports quoting the permanent representation of NAR in Baku.

During this period, transport enterprises of NAR have transported 2643,9 thousand tones of cargo and 16691,8 thousand passengers.

Due to the cargo and passenger transportation, NAR has made AZN 10392,7 thousand profit which is 14,5% more than the same period of last year.
