Azersu announced tender for consultation services within Oguz-Gabala-Baku project

Azersu JSC announced a tender for the consultation services within the framework of construction of Oguz-Gabala-Baku water pipe. The subject of the tender is to provide consultation services for management and technical control of the project, Trend reports.

Those interested should submit their proposals no later than 9 October.

At present, the preparation of the feasibility study is being completed. The water in volume of 3 cubic meters will be delivered to Baku through the water pipe equaling 264 km in length and 2 m in diameter.

Operational reserves of underground waters in this region exceed 15 m3/second.

The route of the water pipe will launched from water reservoir in the territory of Gabala-Oguz and will pass through the territories of Charkhana-Goychay-Agsu-Udullu. The construction works for the water pipe are planned to begin by the end of the year and put it into exploitation in 2008.
