Turkey Cabinet of Ministers Department for Development of Cooperation of Turkic Language Countries Implemented 562 Humanitarian Projects in Azerbaijan

In 2006, the Local Representative Office of the Department for Development of Cooperation of Turkic Language Countries of the Turkish Cabinet of Ministers has implemented 562 humanitarian projects in the country. That is the highest indicator among the Turkish language countries, a source in the Local Representative Office of the Turkish Department told Trend.

At present, within the Department for Development of Cooperation of Turkic Language Countries of the Turkish Cabinet of Ministers, seven employees of the Ganja, Guba, and Absheron chemical stations are attending twelve-day trainings in Ankara where they learn how to work with up-to-date equipment.

The above-mentioned Turkish Department was founded in Turkey in 1992 to render assistance to Turkic language states countries of FSU. The Representative Office of the department in Azerbaijan was opened in 1994. Sarhat Kichikkurd is the Chief of the Representative Office of the Turkish Department in Baku.
