Azerbaijan, Baku, 17 April / Trend / In January-March 2008, fuel oil store of Azerbaijan's main consumers comprised 360,000 tons, which is 3.9% more than in the same period of 2007, Azerbaijan State Statistical Committee reported.
Azerenerji JSC is amongst the main fuel oil consumers in Azerbaijan.
According to the State Statistical Committee, during January-March 2008 the reserves of petrol comprised 15,500 tons (13.1% more than in the same period of 2007), diesel fuel 9,800 tons (5.8% less than in the same period of 2007), kerosene 11,300 tons (46.7% more than in the same period of 2007).
Oil products in Azerbaijan are produced at two Baku oil refineries with a total capacity of 20mln tons of oil per year. Both refineries are owned by SOCAR, which annually processes over 6mln tons of oil produced in the offshore and onshore fields through its own funds.
