At the largest oil refinery in Turkmenbashi shipment of finished products amounted to 5 million 636,900 tons for 11 months of 2010, 3 million 464,100 tons of which have been sent for export, local media reported.
The highest export was observed for diesel fuel and gasoline. In aggregated form, they account for more than 40 percent of total exports of the enterprise.
According to the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper, demand for kerosene, especially fior jet fuel TS-1 increase in international markets. The share of exports in the shipment of the TS-1 exceeded 67 percent. The increased demand is observed on base lubricating oils, coke, polypropylene, liquefied gas and others.
Priority task of saturation of the domestic market with all types of fuel and petrochemical products is being solved. Over the past period the domestic consumers received more than half shipped diesel fuel.
The internal needs took nearly 63 percent of commercial gasoline. The most needed of them A-95 nearly all is sold inside the country. Needs in high-octane gasoline is completely satisfied.
The scale of domestic demand for motor fuels and lubricating oils increase. Needs for them is due to large-scale industry, road and civil construction in Turkmenistan.
High-tech products of the TKNPZ brand are produced on supermodern facilities of primary and deep processing of hydrocarbon raw materials. Soon the newly built complex installation, installation of a delayed coking and tar deasphalting of large unit capacity will join them.
Turkmenistan annually produces approximately 10 million tons of oil, much is processed within the country and put up for export at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of the country. By 2030, production volume will increase to 67 million tons, mainly due to active development of the Turkmen part of the Caspian Sea.
