The Azerbaijani Thermo Power Station generated around 5.16 billion kilowatt of electricity per hour in January-August, according to a message from Azerenergy JSC (production and distribution of electricity in Azerbaijan) published on Wednesday.
According to the message, the station generated around 567.8 million kilowatt of electricity per hour in August.
Azerbaijani TPP is the largest energy generating facility in Azerbaijan's territory and plays an important role in ensuring energy security for the whole republic. The station's capacity is 2400 megawatt.
