Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR will send around 420,000 tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in the fourth quarter of 2017, a source in SOCAR told Trend.
SOCAR sent 425,000 tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 3Q17, about 330,000 tons in 2Q17 and 240,000 tons in 1Q17.
The company plans to transport about 1.5 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 2017.
The Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline is 1,147 kilometers long. The length of its Azerbaijani section is 231 kilometers, and the Russian section is 916 kilometers long.
