Azerbaijan’s state oil company SOCAR will pump around 170,000 tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in December 2017, a source in SOCAR told Trend Nov. 28.
Thus, the entire plan for oil pumping through the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 2017 will be completed, the source noted.
“By the end of the year, the volumes of oil pumped through the pipeline for 2017 will amount to 1.5 million tons, as stipulated in the current agreement with Russia’s Transneft JSC,” the source said.
SOCAR plans to transport 1.5 million tons of oil via the Baku-Novorossiysk pipeline in 2018.
