Two pumps have been repaired and put into operation at the South Zagros Oil & Gas Production Company (SZOGPC) in connection with the injection of glycol into wells, SZOGPC's Managing Director Hamid Izadi, Trend reports referring to the company’s official website.
According to Izadi, 15 billion rials (about $357,000) has been saved with the repair of two pumps.
The director said that South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company is focusing on repairs of equipment domestically.
He added that these two pumps were returned to operation at Aghar and Dalan operating areas.
The South Zagros Oil and Gas Production Company is one of three subsidiaries of Iranian Central Oil Fields Company (ICOFC). The company operates at five sites in Fars, Bushehr and Hormozgan provinces.
The company produces about 60 billion cubic meters of gas and 20 million barrels of oil and gas condensate a year.
