Iran's local companies have domestically produced 31,782 mechanical parts that include 1,330 types for equipment for South Pars in recent years, said the head of maintenance in South Pars Gas Company Mahmoud Balandeh, Trend reports via IRNA.
"The knowledge-based companies and the South Pars Gas Company have produced more than 117 types of electronic cards for industrial control systems as well," said Balandeh.
"A total of 189 types of equipment were produced by local knowledge-based companies that have saved some $4.2 million on imports," he said.
The volume of sweet gas produced by South Pars Gas Company increased in 2019 by 155 percent comparing to 2013, and has continued to grow in the current Iranian year (started March 20,2020).
Officials of Oil Ministry and the National Iranian Gas Company have stated that production capacity of South Pars Gas Company would increase to 750 million cubic meters by the end of current Iranian year(started March 20,2020).
The growth would develop gas distribution to villages in the area and expected to cover more than 32,000 villages by the end of the current Iranian year (started March 20,2020).
