BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 6. Production of associated petroleum gas in Kazakhstan amounted to 3 billion cubic meters in March 2022, which is 7.9 percent more than in March 2021 and 4.8 percent more than in February 2022, Trend reports with reference to Kazakh Statistics Committee.

Production of associated gas in Kazakhstan amounted to 8.9 billion cubic meters from January through March 2022, which is 12.9 percent more than in the same period last year.

According to the committee, Kazakhstan imported 907.7 million cubic meters of associated gas in March 2022, which is 13.9 percent less than in March 2021 and 29.8 percent less than in February 2022.

Associated gas imports amounted to 2.5 billion cubic meters from January through March 2022, which is 25.8 percent less than in the same period last year.

Kazakhstan exported 2.1 billion cubic meters of associated gas in March 2022, which is 2.2 times more than in March 2021 and 11.4 percent more than in February 2022.

Kazakhstan’s associated gas exports amounted to 3.8 billion cubic meters from January through March 2022, which is 7 percent less than the same period last year.

A total of 1.7 billion cubic meters of associated gas were sold on the local market of Kazakhstan in March 2022, which is 38.5 percent more than in March 2021, but 35.4 percent less than in February 2022.

Kazakhstan’s local gas sales amounted to 7.6 billion cubic meters from January through March 2022, which is 6.2 percent more than in the same period last year.
