BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 23. Production volume of associated gas in Kazakhstan amounted to 2.4 billion cubic meters in July 2022, which is 13.7 percent less that in July 2021 and 23.6 percent more than in June 2022, Trend reports via State Statistics Committee of Kazakhstan.
According to the bureau, the production of associated gas in Kazakhstan amounted to 18.9 billion cubic meters from January through July 2022, which is 0.5 percent more than during the same period the previous year.
In the reported period Kazakhstan imported 533.3 million cubic meters of associated gas, which is 21.2 percent more than in the same period last year, but 25.3 percent more than in June 2022.
The associated gas imports amounted to 4.3 billion cubic meters from January through July 2022, down by 22.3 percent less compared to the same period last year.
Kazakhstan exported 1.1 billion cubic meters of associated gas in July 2022, which is 18.9 percent less than in July 2021, but 9 percent more than in June 2022.
The country’s associated gas exports amounted to 8.2 billion cubic meters from January through July 2022, which is 20.4 percent less than the same period last year.
A total of 1.8 billion cubic meters of associated gas were sold on the local market of Kazakhstan in July 2022, which is 19.9 percent less than in July 2021, but 9 percent more than in June 2022.
Kazakhstan’s domestic gas sales amounted to 15.07 billion cubic meters from January through July 2022, which is 6.8 percent more than in the same period last year, added to the bureau.
