Equinor reports Q1 production dip amid key field startups

Despite the year-on-year decline, operational performance remained strong across most fields on the Norwegian Continental Shelf (NCS), particularly at the Johan Sverdrup and Troll fields. This helped offset the negative impact of the Sleipner B shutdown following a fire in Q4 2024, as well as both planned and unplanned maintenance at the Hammerfest LNG facility.
