SOCAR closed tender for sale of first batch of oil from Novorossiysk in January

The State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR) closed the tender for the sale of 85,000 tons of the Urals oil in January 2006 on FOB basis from the port Novorossiysk. The winner is the Glencore trader, SOCAR told Trend.

В"The oil shipment is expected by one tanker cargo from the birth N2 of the Novorossiysk terminal on 30-31 January”, SOCAR specified.

The following companies bought oil from SOCAR in 2005 at tenders from Novorossiysk:

January - LUKOIL (140,000 tons, Vitol (80,000 tons);

February- LUKOIL (160,000 tons), Arcadia (140,000 tons);

March- Bp Oil Trading (80,000 tons), Total (140,000 tons);

April - Glencore (160,000 tons);

May вЂ" RD Shell (80,000 tons); LUKOIL (85,000 tons);

June - Mercuria Energy Trading (82,000 tons);

July - Mercuria Energy Trading (170,000 tons);

August - Sun Oil (164,000 tons), Glencore (142,000 tons);

September -LUKOIL (79,000 tons);

October - Mercuria Energy Trading (142,000 tons), Vitol (85,000 tons);

NovemberвЂ" Glencore (85,000 tons);

December -Glencore (170,000 tons).

Thus, in 2005 Glencore trader bought mostly the oil вЂ" 557,000 tons from SOCAR from Novorossiysk, the second - LUKOIL вЂ" 464,000 tons, Mercuria Energy Trading вЂ" 394,000 tons, Vitol вЂ" 165,000 tons, Sun Oil вЂ" 164,000 tons, Arcadia and Total bought per 140,000 tons each, Bp Oil Trading and RD Shell - per 80,000 tons each.
