Turkey exports over 5,000 tons of cables and wires to Georgia

Turkey exported 5,152 tons of cables and wires to Georgia in January-August 2019, Trend reports referring to the Georgian National Statistics Office (Geostat).

During the reporting period, cables and wires worth $24.25 million were exported by Turkey to Georgia.

In an annual comparison, Turkey increased the export of cables and wires by 179 tons. Over the same period last year, 4,973 tons of cables and wires were exported from Turkey to Georgia for a total of $20.67 million.

Also, in January-August 2019, Turkey exported 32,811 tons of pipes to Georgia, worth $24.06 million.

On an annualized basis, Turkey reduced pipe exports to Georgia by 13,153 tons. Over the same period last year, 45,964 tons of pipes totaling $36.99 million were exported from Turkey to Georgia.
