The total turnover on the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) market amounted to 1.1 billion manat ($648.3 million) in October 2019, which is 39 percent less than in October 2018, Trend reports on Nov. 19 referring to the BSE’s data.
The volume of turnover increased by 14.8 percent compared to the previous month.
The turnover on the debt instrument market amounted to 1 billion manat ($589.4 million), increasing by 13.3 percent since the beginning of the year. The volume of turnover greatly decreased by 30.7 percent on an annualized basis.
The turnover on the stock market amounted to 164,100 manat ($96,728) in October 2019.
The turnover on repo operations has almost doubled since early 2019 and amounted to 125.8 million manat ($74.1 million) in October. The repo operations increased by 21.5 times on an annualized basis.
